Mobile Equipment

Mobile equipment is becoming increasingly popular. It offers processing capabilities to match that of stationary plants, but with the advantage of being portable. Mobile processing plants are simple to set up and tear down, and easy to move around a site or from site to site, giving producers flexibility when it comes to optimizing their site. Instead of producers with several sites operating a stationary plant at each one, mobile equipment allows them to transport their equipment where it’s needed. This saves the producer on capital investment and maintenance costs, and increases their return on investment.

McLanahan offers two types of mobile equipment – a line of wheeled equipment sold under the McLanahan name and track-mounted equipment sold through Anaconda Equipment. Wheel-mounted equipment includes crushers, screens and a variety of washing equipment. Anaconda Equipment, which became part of McLanahan Corporation’s family of companies in 2019, offers track-mounted screeners, scalpers, feeders, conveyors and trommels through their extensive dealer network.

All mobile solutions from both McLanahan and Anaconda offer producers easy setup, teardown and transportation with all the capabilities of fixed equipment.

Wheel-Mounted Crushing

McLanahan offers a line of mobile crushers that provide material reduction capabilities for many industries. We’ve designed our well-known Universal Jaw Crushers and Impact Crushers onto wheel-mounted chassis for ease of mobility without sacrificing reliability. These portable crushing units can be used alone or as part of a multi-stage crushing circuit. Like all our mobile solutions, McLanahan mobile crushers arrive on-site quickly and require minimal erection time.

Track Conveying

Built to the highest quality, Anaconda Equipment offers a range of tracked conveyors. These track-mounted conveyors can provide a range of material movement from 20’ to 80’, handle 50 tph to 750 tph and create stockpile from 196 cubic yards to 6,539 cubic yards – all at minimal operating costs.

Anaconda’s range of tracked conveyors can be removed from their shipping container without any dismantling to allow for operation within 10 minutes of delivery. They are designed to facilitate ease of mobility for movement around site.

Track Screening/Scalping

Anaconda Equipment offers a range of mobile screeners and scalpers to suit a variety of applications. These robust, reliable and highly productive screens are designed for optimum screening and stockpiling of materials. From fine screening applications with the SR range to the heavy-duty screening capabilities of the FSL100, Anaconda’s Screeners and Scalpers are tracked to facilitate ease of transport around or to and from site.

With two- and three-deck options available, the scalpers can provide up to four-way separation of material at greater capacity, with up to 350 tph possible. Anaconda offers the longest stockpiling conveyor with the FSL100 Scalping Screen, and the longest screen box in the compact market with the DF410 and SR410 range. These Screeners and Scalpers fold for convenient shipping in one standard shipping container, and are quick to set up once on site so you can be up and running faster.

Track Feeders

Anaconda’s robust range of track feeders can be utilized for the sand and gravel, aggregates, coal and other industries. Each unit features a variable speed belt feeder and, depending on the model, either a 65’, 50’ or 33’ conveyor ideal for loading trucks, wagons or barges, as well as surge feeding new and existing quarry plants.

This cost-effective range of track-mounted feeding equipment, which includes the FTR200, FTR150 and FTR100, can fold to allow convenient shipping. Hydraulic jacking legs provide an ease of setup and the compact nature of each unit allows for ease of transport.

Track Trommels

Track-mounted trommels are available as part of Anaconda's equipment line. These trommels have been proven to produce up to 75% more fines the first time than standard rotary drum machines.

The TD516 Trommel is a popular screen for processing skip waste fines, construction and demolition waste, compost, topsoil, ash and wood bark. It features a self-cleaning drum with adjustable screening angle and variable speeds.

The TD620 Trommel can handle larger volumes and feed sizes, with a high capacity drum ideal for the efficient processing of materials such as compost, wood chips, soil, construction and demolition waste, and commercial and industrial waste.

All trommels from Anaconda are easy to transport, providing maximum flexibility and mobility, and easy to use while providing optimum performance every time.

Wheel-Mounted Wash Plants

McLanahan can provide complete mobile wash plants for easy transport from site to site — no concrete base required. The portable wash plants, which are wheel-mounted, include our field-proven washing and classifying equipment to classify sand, remove deleterious materials and maximize fines recovery.

Because they are wheel-mounted on a fifth-wheel chassis, our mobile Wash Plants can be easily moved around on site or transported from one site to another, with minimal time needed for setup and teardown. Our Wheel-Mounted Wash Plants provide the same washing capabilities as stationary plants, with the added benefit of portability, meaning more flexibility and mobility for your site.
