The McLanahan Latin American team of Jean Pierre Mery, General Manager; Juan Pablo Munoz, Product Manager; and Javier Sierra, Project Manager, were on hand to connect with visitors and promote McLanahan’s range of mineral processing equipment. McLanahan's newest crushing innovation, the Mineral Sizer, was a highlight of the stand, continuing its successful promotion in the mineral market.

During the event, the McLanahan stand experienced an increased number of visitors in comparison to the 2019 exhibition. The stand’s imagery and colors attracted many visitors, including existing customers plus first-time attendees.

“The McLanahan brand is more recognizable than ever before, this is due to our continued efforts to promote our solutions, undertake new projects and meet the needs of the market”, said Mery.

The team met with several mineral processors to discuss existing projects for sampling systems and crushing equipment.

As part of the event, Sierra attended two site tours. These tours visited Codelco’s Chuquicamata copper mine, north-east of Antofagasta, and the S.Q.M. Carmen Lithium Chemical Plant. The tour included a visit to the copper pit and presentations by the hosting company’s representatives. These visits allowed Sierra to promote McLanahan’s range of mineral processing solutions to these large and important mineral producers.

On day two, Munoz presented a technical talk on McLanahan’s latest crushing equipment, the Mineral Sizer. He also spoke about McLanahan’s experience in the South American mineral market; current projects, capabilities and innovative solutions for the mineral processing industry, as well as McLanahan’s future opportunities and growth in the LATAM market. His talk was well attended and provided him the opportunity to speak with and answer numerous questions from the attendees.

The success of the event and the increased patronage to the stand highlights “McLanahan’s excellent position and ability for continued growth,” said Mery.
