McLanahan Attends the HVO Family Day in NSW, Australia

McLanahan Corporation participated in the Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) Family Day held last month at the HVO site in Lemington, New South Wales, Australia. As one of the largest coal mines in the region, HVO is a prominent producer of high-quality thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal, employing over 1,300 people and operating continuously across multiple open-cut pits.

The HVO Family Day was an appreciation event hosted by HVO for its employees, contractors and their families. This day featured a variety of family-friendly activities, including mine tours, rides, displays, demonstrations, food and entertainment. The event, which attracted more than 4,000 attendees, served as a gesture of thanks toward the dedicated people who contribute to HVO's ongoing success.

During the event, McLanahan showcased its Feeder-Breaker model as part of the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) display. This exhibit provided visitors with an in-depth look at how McLanahan’s equipment integrates into HVO's existing processing plant, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.

Throughout the day, McLanahan engaged with the families of HVO’s team, sharing insights into the company's technology and highlighting the crucial role that the equipment plays in HVO’s operations.

McLanahan looks forward to continuing its collaboration with HVO and supporting the surrounding rural community.
